JACOB GOFF is an apparel and graphic designer and artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne. He graduated from Northumbria with a BA (hons) in Fashion Design and Marketing in 2014 and an MA in Performance Product Design in 2015. With stints at Nike and END., he specialises in menswear and footwear and has completed projects with Berghaus, Adidas, New Balance, Champion and many more. His skills range from concept generation, design, manufacture and creative direction.

JACOB is interested in reusing and reinterpreting found materials to construct clothing and textile pieces that explore the relationship between his environment and design practice. Through analysis of this process, Jacob intends to further understand how the action of design can reverberate back through the body, therefore ‘redesigning’ the designer and symbiotically linking being, object and environment.

JACOB is also Co-Director of Lessons (lessonsresearch.com), a 3D object and soft good design and manufacturing company that focusses on the combined expertise of 3D design with fashion and textile craftsmanship to produce limited batches of handmade products.
